In Virginia a Circuit Court Judge appoints “Marriage Celebrants”. It is in this role that Alan D. Ward has been appointed to conduct civil marriage ceremonies throughout Virginia.
Alan first began performing Wedding Ceremonies at sea and on land as a Licensed Notary Public early in the 1980’s in the state of Florida. As a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain, he took his own boats and other private vessels throughout US Waters and the Caribbean for clients and charter guests.
